I wanted to let you know of the spectacular results I have seen in my pool following the installation of the Hydrocell Pro Pool device. I will be honest that I was very skeptical at first. I had never heard of the science used by the product. I also couldn’t find much documentation on-line about the Hydrocell Pro device either. I did find some pool servicer blog posts that shared my skepticism.
I am happy to report that this product is the real deal. It works – period.
I have a 43,000 gallon pool that has always been impossible to maintain. Not only does my pool have a natural rock formation cascading to the floor of the pool, but I also have a large Kiawe (Hawaiian Mesquite) tree that constantly showers small leaves into the pool. I also keep my pool heated to 89 degrees. The combination of these factors, along with using a salt system, has resulted in constant algae problems, and cloudy water. Too many times I have had to add extra chlorine during the summer months. I have also required the use of phosphate removers to help get the water clear. And to be honest, despite all of that, I didn’t think my pool looked too bad. That was another reason why I was reluctant to add an “unproven” piece of equipment.
Within the first few days following the installation of the Hydrocell Pro device, my pool started to transform. What I thought was clear water before was nothing compared to how the water looks now. The pool water looks almost perfectly clear in nature. I have never seen the water that clear before, except for the day we filled the pool. I can stare at the deep end of my pool, and it looks like there’s no water in the pool at all – that’s how clear the water is. That’s pretty incredible, as the deep end of my pool is over 12 feet deep. I have also noticed areas that algae grew, no longer exist. Since installation, I have not brushed the walls of my pool. The rocks in the pool always had algae issues. After just 10 days of the Hydrocell Pro Products device installed, I stared to see areas of rock completely absent of algae that was there prior – all without brushing or adding additional chemicals.
I know there are many who will share my initial skepticism. A device that doesn’t use chemicals, doesn’t use any electrical source, and doesn’t wear out, is somehow going to allow my pool to look better, smell better, and end up using less chemicals in the process? That is a very tall order for any device. Yet, somehow the Hydrocell Pro Products device does it. I’m now convinced that the Hydrocell Pro device process of momentarily super-heating the water passing through it is doing two important things for my pool water. First, it is destroying the phosphates that has kept my pool cloudy for years. Second, it is killing the food supply the algae needs to grow. With both of these gone, my pool has never looked as good.
I know even after someone reads this letter, they may think I’m lying, or somehow this can’t be true. For those of you, I tell you the Hydrocell Pro Products device will work for you. If it could do what it did to my pool, it will easily do wonders for your pool. And if you want to know if I’m a real person, I’d be happy to speak to anyone and share the progress pictures and video of my pool transformation.

The Hydrocell Pro device did the work of the chlorine and it overachieved, given the fact your pool had no chlorine in it (and the water quality was excellent). Your existing chlorine injection system has a sampler or device that checks the amount of algae and bacteria in the pool water, after installing the Hydrocell Pro it did not see the need to inject any chlorine or acid. The reason is simple, when the sampler does not find any algae or bacteria in the water it does not inject chlorine. Great news for the Hydrocell Pro device; on one hand, but we are not in compliance with California’s minimum chlorine levels for public swimming pools; again, a great accomplishment for the Hydrocell Pro device.
As discussed we had a very impressive improvement to the air quality inside the pool and spa area, again great for the Hydrocell Pro device. When we installed the Hydrocell Pro device on the spa we will then accomplish an even greater improvement to the air quality of the area as the spa is still using 100% chlorine. I think this product would be a great Value Added Service for your Hotel & Military Clients.
Please see the results below which occurred at the Embassy Suites in Burlingame where I work in less than 30 days. This property spends roughly $20,000 a year on chlorine & chemicals for their pool and spa. Koi fish pond after I installed a Hydrocell Pro Device in my pump facility for my 1,200 gallon Koi Pond. I had an existing 1-hp variable speed Hayward pump, an Aqua ultraviolet and a Ultima II bio mechanical filtration system. During this time my house was under a serious remodel and addition building phase. Needless to say my pond varied from green to brown and I was continually testing water quality and adjusting. Fish were taking a beating.
After I installed the Hydrocell device, it took 12 hours to have an effect, and within 24 hours, the pond was crystal clear, without killing any water lilies, fish or my Turpin. It has operated like this for the last six months with no exceptions.
I add no chemicals, I do backwash once a week. The fish have grown substantially and are healthier in color, eyes and skin. I have cleaned the Hydrocell Device once in this time, last week and found very little debris in the tube.

I wanted to take a minute and reach out to you and let you know how happy I am with your product. I installed this product on my built-in swimming pool last summer and I could not be happier with the results I obtained! I live in Massachusetts and only get to use my pool for a few months a year so keeping it clean is of paramount importance and it most certainly does that and more. When I opened the pool this May I was amazed how clear the water was and the lack of algae on the walls and bottom. Being that the cover was on from the end of September to the middle of May I was expecting to have to Shock and scrub the pool to get rid of the algae and cloudiness in the water that occurs over the winter every year. Thanks for contacting me and sharing the July 2020 test report from IAPMO about their 3rd party independent testing of your pool water treatment device.
I understand they tested your 2”x4”x2” pool system hydro-cavitation device under laboratory controlled conditions of water chemistry, temperature, and other factors in accordance with the new Water Conditioning Device requirements found within NSF/ANSI Standard 50-2019.
These new requirements were created in order to create a controlled and scientific testing program to validate system performance. The testing criteria requires operating the simulated testing pool in a control mode and test mode so that data is collected on the system both without and then later with the device included. The testing system uses at 10,000 gallon simulated pool operating at 28gpm (to simulate the traditional 6-hour public pool volumetric turn over) with pump, filter, water intake, water return, heater, chemical feeding, and datalogging equipment similar to a typical pool. During the system control and test mode operations all inputs such as chemicals like acid, disinfectants, etc. as well as the simulated bather contaminant load dosing etc. are data logged and reported. This makes for a very robust testing regimen that eliminates the uncontrollability and variability of exposed outdoor pools with variable human user inputs.
I was impressed with the testing results because I have never previously seen a device yield such results. The product requires no electricity, chemical addition, or other energy inputs and has an extremely low pressure loss (ie pumping loss or head loss) therefore the product has very low operational cost. But the fascinating part was the operational benefit in terms of time and chemical savings. The IAPMO testing to NSF/ANSI Standard 50 revealed your product allows facility owners to save time and money on chemical addition because your product showed a 41% reduction in the amount of chlorine that was needed to maintain the pool water chemistry. Another surprising factor was that your product had such very low resistance to water flow or head loss resistance. When I read the testing results about the reduction in required chlorine to maintain the water chemistry set-points I was really impressed that the product had such low head loss. I would have expected there to be some pumping losses or downside to the product use, but none are evident from the data.
That type of positive impact and time/money savings is unheard of. But your product design and use is quite a novel, I have not previously seen such corroborated 3rd party testing data, showing the benefit in pool, spa, waterpark type water treatment applications.

We recently installed an Hydrocell Pro pool unit device at our residence. For years, my husband complained of skin irritation specifically on his back every time after swimming in our pool or any pool with chlorine in it. This was an extremely uncomfortable experience for him which kept him out of the pool at times, especially the pool at the gym which seems to be loaded with chemicals. 24hrs after installing the pool device my husband went for a swim.

Kahala, HII recently experienced the wonderful effects of the Hydrocell Pro Pool Unit as well as their Home Unit. I just want to say that the swim I had was beyond anything I’ve experienced. The chlorine smell that I’ve been used to for so many years was completely non-existent, as well as coming out of the pool my hair felt softer and if I did open my eyes in the pool it would not burn. Having the lack of these chemicals in the pool made me feel healthier than I would in a normal chlorine pool. It also amazed me how clear and lack of algae the pool had without any chemicals.
